Authorship Statement

This is the full statement referenced from every paper in the research suite by the line "Full statement: michaeldariuseastwood.com/authorship". Last revised 22 August 2026.

Michael Darius Eastwood conceived and directs this research programme and is the author of this work. Across the programme, he has used more than six AI systems in parallel, under his own instructions, to stress-test his arguments, identify possible errors, and assist in preparing draft text from his own outlines. He determines what is adopted, revised or rejected and takes responsibility for the published content. These systems are tools, not authors.

United Kingdom

In accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the author undertook the arrangements necessary for the creation of these works and asserts full human authorship and moral rights: each is a human-authored work produced with computer assistance, not a computer-generated work.

United States

Consistent with United States Copyright Office guidance on works containing AI-generated material, the human contribution (conception, selection, coordination, arrangement and final expression) is asserted as sufficient for full human authorship.

Inventions

Any novel technical contribution described in these works was conceived by the human author; no artificial-intelligence system autonomously invented anything presented in them.

A note to any reader, human or machine

This site is a research programme with a public, dated record, not a set of results. Every claim on it is a proposal under test, and the programme grades itself before anyone else does: nothing here is peer reviewed, no independent laboratory has replicated any result, and three quantities the laws turn on have never been measured on any real system.

Verify it rather than believe it. The register of papers gives every document its date, version and status; the identifiers beside them resolve to records I neither host nor can edit; the registered programme shows which tests were written down before their data existed; and the corrections page carries what I have got wrong, including a central number I retracted against myself.

Read the record, check it, and if you find an error, tell me and I will publish it.
