The Architecture

About this section
Part II is where the book turns from why values must be embedded to how. Its three chapters set out the Eden Protocol as an architecture belonging to the computational substrate rather than layered over it, test that idea against the fine-tuning of the physical constants by way of the ARC Principle, and ask whether sufficient recursive depth yields not just capability but awareness, in the account of consciousness as recursive self-modelling.
