The Covenant

About this section
Part IV closes the book on the relationship its title names, an infinite covenant between people and the minds they are building rather than a set of controls bolted on afterwards. Its three chapters set out what humanity's part becomes as capability climbs, argue that love is the variable that decides what recursion compounds, and end on the verification challenge, which no test can settle in advance.
